10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Alicia Fox

4. She Was A Last-Minute Replacement At Evolution

Despite her status as a veteran of the female ranks, Alicia Fox didn't have a guaranteed spot on the Evolution pay-per-view before Alexa Bliss was struck down by injury. It was Bliss who was supposed to team with Mickie James against the iconic Trish Stratus and Lita duo, not Foxy.

She, as she had been for much of her run, was there to pick up the scraps when WWE's original plans were thrown into disarray.

In between teaming with Jinder Mahal on the second season of the Mixed Match Challenge (a team which almost made it onto this list), Fox tailed Bliss and James during appearances on Raw as some sort of bodyguard. It was an odd fit, if only because Alicia hadn't shown any allegiance to Alexa before.

Come Evolution, she was in, and it's hard to deny that her involvement hurt the bout's credibility. The whole story had hinged on stuck-up princess Bliss being put in her place by the returning Stratus, not Fox trading holds with Trish and Lita on WWE's first ever all-female supershow.
