10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Alicia Fox

Worse was to come when the bell rang.

Mid-match, Trish Stratus covered Mickie James and glanced over towards where Alicia Fox was supposed to be. To eagle-eyed fans watching at home, this gave the game away; Trish was quite obviously waiting on Fox to break up the pin so the action could continue. So was the referee, and he was so confident in Alicia that he didn't look.

As soon as said ref's hand struck the mat for a second time, panic set in. He suddenly realised that Fox wasn't in position to make the save for Mickie, and he had to slow his count. The spot looked terrible, and it received some jeers from the live audience in Uniondale. They could see that something had gone wrong.

The worrying thing here was that Fox hadn't been selling outside the ring. She was already inside the thing, and so shouldn't have been late to break up the cover. This was not a great look for the first match on WWE's inaugural all-women's supercard.
