10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Becky Lynch

4. La Luchadora

While they're at it, they could shove this ham-fisted attempt at comedy and subterfuge into the same incinerator.

Appearing like an unwanted second helping of The Fabulous Moolah's 'Spider' gimmick from the 80s, 'La Luchadora' bounded onto WWE screens in mid-December 2016. The Create-A-Wrestler nonsense was all part of Becky's attempt to get her Women's Title back from Alexa Bliss, and a win as Lucha secured her another shot.

Then, during a Steel Cage title match in January 2017, another 'Luchadora' hit the scene. This time, it was the returning Mickie James who went under the mask to turn heel and help Bliss retain. The whole saga was right up there with other costumed buffoonery like Hulk Hogan's 'Mr. America' and Ric Flair's 'Black Scorpion'.

Again, this came hot on the heels of some tremendous women's work over on Raw. It didn't really lead to anything either. Naomi was the one who later beat Bliss, not Becky.
