10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Bill Demott

7. 'NXT Was A Nazi Camp' - Ricardo Rodriguez

Add Ricardo Rodriguez to the list of ex-WWE employees who have bad things to say about Bill DeMott. After getting his release from WWE, Ricardo was more than happy to spill the beans on top WWE management and talent in a series of shoot interviews. He criticised DeMott's training methods while he was training under him down in NXY. He said that Demott would run people into the ground to the point that they would get injured. During his RF Video shoot interview he said that NXT in 2014 was like a 'Nazi camp'. Conversely, he said that his experience in NXT precursor Florida Championship Wrestling was a positive one and that people would have fun, whereas in NXT although they were 'building machines', nobody was having fun, everyone was hurt and people resented DeMott for it. Former Deep South Wrestling talent Kevin Matthews blamed Demott's 'Kill Drill' training routine as the reason for the increase in injuries under his watch. Matthews would have much more damning things to say about DeMott, which we shall return to later in the list.
