10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Bill Demott

5. Hugh G. Rection

When DeMott returned to the promotion in early 2000, it was under the Hugh Morrus name. This time, however, he was a lot more focused and meaner and began to squash opponents. This didn't last long, however, as new bookers Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff had a new direction for DeMott. He was repackaged as a member of the stable the Misfits in Action (MIA) under the name 'General Hugh G. Rection'. Booker T's new alias G.I. Bro was bad. Chavo Guerrero as Lieutenant Loco was poor. But 'Hugh G. Rection?'. Come on. He was saddled with a name that basically said 'giant stiff penis'. DeMott was not a fan of the name change and was deeply embarrassed when WCW flashed his new full name across the bottom of the screen. Hugh G. Rection also cost DeMott in terms of royalty cheques because WCW could not put out any merchandise on him because the name was deemed too racy.
