10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Braun Strowman

7. They Booked Him Like Big Show

Such silliness was a recurring theme with Braun.

WWE booked him like they'd booked Paul Wight for years as Big Show. In other words, his run featured turns aplenty (from heel to babyface and vice versa), and creative went down the comedic route whenever they were stuck for something Strowman could do.

Remember "Brains Strowman"? How about popping poor Kevin Owens in a portable toilet and tipping it over? If that's not enough, then cast your minds back to the time when Braun became a zany, personable Intercontinental Champion who had long-dreamed of getting his hands on that prize.

It all felt so forced, and a little false.

WWE's quest to make Strowman relatable destroyed his original appeal. F*ck making him someone people can relate to - just book him as a machine who kicks everyone's asses, refuses to toe the line with authority and marches to the beat of his own drum.
