This fan will go to his grave ranting about how some wrestlers don't need World Titles. Being brutally honest, your favourite worker not getting a shot with the big belt is hardly some personal attack. In fact, embrace it, because at least then they won't get the treatment Bray Wyatt: WWE Champ did.

It all started so promisingly.

Bray pinned both AJ Styles and John Cena at Elimination Chamber 2017 to end the night as the top titleholder. Finally, previously-annoyed critics rejoiced, WWE would book Wyatt properly and give him some huge WrestleMania main event worth celebrating. Well, not quite.

His match with Randy Orton was a midcard afterthought at 'Mania 33, and the weird projected images beamed onto the canvas convinced nobody that it was anything special. So many folks blast WWE for Bray's 2019-2020 Universal Title reign, but they forget that his first sprint with the World Title was similarly guff several years before it.
