10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Bray Wyatt

6. ‘Firefly Fun House’ Ran Out Of Steam

'Firefly Fun House' debuted in April 2019, and it was wildly entertaining at first. Bray's cheeky chappy children's TV host routine felt like something more American Horror Story than WWE Raw, and he was clearly enjoying the chance to be a twisted prince of mayhem.

Like most things in the company though, 'Fun House' lost that initial punch and never recovered when WWE went back to the well too many times. Instead of seeking another source of inspiration to nourish the segment, they dug deeper into the ground hoping to find more water (or, in this case, television magic).

They failed.

Seriously, when was the last must-see edition of the sketch? In 2021, 'Fun House' has given way to 'Alexa's Playground', which is a watered-down, less visceral take on the old character set piece format. Not even Wyatt's creativity could save the skit from becoming tedious by late-2019, and that's a crying shame.
