WWE's decision to take wads of cash and run supershows in Saudi Arabia was one of 2018's most controversial hot topics. To some, it reeked of corporate money-grabbing, and others couldn't stomach the fact that women wouldn't be able to appear on the card.

Then, the Greatest Royal Rumble happened, and Carmella popped up in a mid-show ad wearing her leopard-print one-piece. Cue an angry outburst from the event's organisers and the General Sport Authority (said organisers) publicly apologising for some "indecent" content.

Sasha Banks, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch and others were shown in the commercial too, and it was hardly racy stuff.

Indeed, 'Mella could be seen sipping from a water bottle in her ring gear, and that was it. Somehow, due to cultural differences, Saudi authorities deemed this wildly inappropriate and promised it'd never happen again so long as their relationship with WWE continued.
