10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Chris Jericho

1. He's His Own Man

Above all else, WWE would probably like wrestling fans to forget that they can't control what Chris Jericho does in 2018. He's very much his own man, and shock appearances at independent shows like All In prove that.

Jericho has more going on outside Vince McMahon's promotion than anyone else on the roster (certainly more than other legends who still occasionally pop up for part-time runs). He's been in New Japan, he successfully runs his own podcast empire and he's even branching out as an entrepreneur by running his own rock/wrestling mash up cruise. Who else can say that they do so many projects, WWE or otherwise?

Jericho's a one-man entertainment machine.

WWE cannot be totally satisfied with that. The McMahon family are notoriously hard-headed when it comes to control over their intellectual property, something they consider their Superstars to be, and Jericho has bucked that trend by doing his own thing.
