10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Damien Sandow

2. The Meta Powers

Once the debacle with The Miz was finished, Sandow came out on RAW and gave an impassioned promo thanking the fans for their support throughout. He was soon interrupted by Curtis Axel, another talented performer lost in a sea of nothingness, who was caught up in Axelmania at the time.

Instead of continuing forward by being himself Sandow instead parroted everything Axel said, not unlike an incredibly annoying five-year-old child. Sandow began to impersonate the late great 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, and attacks by The Ascension brought Sandow (now known as Macho Mandow) and Axel together as The Meta Powers.

After spending over a year stuck in comedic nothingness, it was incredibly disappointing to see Sandow relegated to this one more. Even so, the Hulk Hogan racism scandal happened and the Meta Powers were done.
