10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Dean Ambrose

3. That Steve Austin Podcast

Watch the above clip at least once and try not to squirm.

Steve Austin, one of the biggest names in WWE history and a man renowned for pioneering the star-based wrestling podcasts we enjoy today, was not thrilled with Dean's laid-back attitude during a 2016 interview. The entire chat aired on the WWE Network, and it's even more awkward to watch Austin's death stare as Ambrose palms off his hard-line questioning now.

This, after 11 other successful editions of the show on the service, remains the last Stone Cold Podcast to be uploaded to the Network. That says it all. Either Austin himself said he was done, or WWE decided that the Ambrose interview was such a failure that they'd rather not continue.

Austin became more flustered the longer the interview went on, and he didn't appreciate Dean's decision to speak over him on several occasions. It's a difficult watch, doesn't paint Ambrose as a true ambassador of the company and hardly matched up to previous interviews with guests like Ric Flair, Triple H or Brock Lesnar.
