10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Hell In A Cell
3. Kane And Undertaker's Horrible Feud
It's a sad truth that Undertaker and Kane have never had a great match together. Despite being inextricably bound to one another throughout their careers (or since Kane's 1997 debut, at least), the 'brothers' have never forged a chemistry in the ring. Their Hell in a Cell match at the 2010 PPV of the same name was a particular low point. The match was a predictably slow affair, and built to an even more disappointing finish. Bearer, back in Undertaker's service at the time, turned heel on the Deadman, slinked into the Cell towards the end of the match. Then, as Undertaker set up for a climactic Tombstone, the lights in the arena dimmed for no reason other than to set up the next spot. Bearer removed the lid of Taker's urn and a light emitted from inside, blinding the Phenom and allowing Kane to steal an undeserved win. As hokey as that sounds, it comes across even worse visually, all three men straining their facial expressions to sell the weirdness of the situation.
