4. Undertaker Throws His Weight Around. CM Punk Suffers.
This entry is included more for the details surrounding the match, rather than the in-ring action itself. In the dying days of the brand split, CM Punk was enjoying a breakthrough run as World Heavyweight Champion, having won the belt in an electrifying feud with Jeff Hardy. Reportedly, Punk then got on the wrong side of the wrong people backstage. Undertaker claimed that he should dress more like a champion, Punk pointed out that John Cena dressed however he liked, and Taker mysteriously won the belt at Hell in a Cell 2009 (despite Punk riding a wave of momentum at the time). Punk was then shifted away from the main event scene, forming the Straight Edge Society and losing feuds with Rey Mysterio and Big Show. He'd have to wait until 2011 to truly regain his popularity again. Remarkably, this was the first time a championship had changed hands inside the Cell structure - the 17th match in its entire history.
