10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Jeff Hardy

5. His Brief 24/7 Title Chase

What the sh*t was this?

On the 6 September Raw, Jeff marched out with a host of other lower-card workers and got involved in the 24/7 Title chase during a match between circus act Reggie and Akira Tozawa. Fans in Miami (at least those on camera in the front few rows) seemed legit stunned to see Hardy in this spot.

The experiment was short-lived. Someone, bless 'em, must've popped a hand up during creative meetings and suggested that Jeff freakin' Hardy was worth more than catching a dive from Reg with loads of other going-nowhere-in-a-hurry wrestlers who had nothing better to do on Monday nights.

He didn't fit in the bogus 24/7 Title division. Like...at all. People wanted to take Jeff seriously, and no-one could fathom quite why WWE believed he was the right man for this lowly position on the show. At least this insulting treatment didn't last longer than one episode.
