3. He's Still Fighting

As a mixed martial arts hero, Ken Shamrock was one of the inaugural inductees into the UFC Hall of Fame. Twelve years after receiving the honor, Shamrock is still competing in fights, despite the fact that all evidence shows he should no longer do so. While some mixed martial artists are able to remain competitive into their 50s, Shamrock hasn't proven to have the longevity of Randy Couture or Dan Severn. He's only won two of his last ten fights, which casts a sad pallor on his legacy and, more importantly, has endangered his long-term health. Earlier this month, Shamrock's next fight - a bout with 48-year-old rival Royce Gracie - was announced for February of 2016. Shamrock risking his health does no favors for UFC or WWE, both of whom would look bad if he were to get seriously hurt (despite the fact that they haven't employed him for years). In 2008, Dana White publicly called for Shamrock to stop fighting. Undoubtedly, those at WWE feel the same way.
