3. His Penchant For Piledrivers
It's not exactly breaking news to discover that WWE aren't the biggest lovers of piledrivers.
Largely banning the use of the neck-crushing move in their rings in recent history, the few who do get away with whacking one out during a usually marquee bout often only find a way to do so after years of sucking up to the boss and playing the role of "company man".
Not quite at that level of sway just yet, Owens has still not been able to convince those higher up to allow him to reintroduce his much-loved package variation of the piledriver that he used to great effect on the independent scene.
But it isn't through lack of trying, as Owens was said to have still been lobbying to have the move once again be his go-to finisher, only this time in a WWE ring, as recently as 2020. Yet, it was reported by Fightful that these pitches still couldn't even find their way into Vince's ear. So, it looks as though any hope of this package being delivered on a WWE stage is pretty much non-existent.
