10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Nia Jax

7. Nia Jax's (Shoot?) Scrap with Charlotte Flair

While pro wrestling is scripted, there are times where real emotions get caught in the mix and tempers flare up, leading to Superstars exchanging actual blows with one another.

One such incident took place on the August 30, 2021 edition of Monday Night Raw, which saw a breakdown of communication between Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair that appeared to break kayfabe. (Check out WhatCulture's reaction here!)

The match had its clunky moments, but things went haywire when Flair slapped Jax in the face. Jax responded with a push, and after some more awkward struggling and shoving that certainly wasn't the normally smooth presentation of these matches, Jax was heard telling Flair "Don't." They struck each other a few more times in cumbersome fashion, didn't seem to work together to pull off their maneuvers, continued to taunt and poke at one another, until eventually, Jax powerbombed Flair for the victory.

Jax confirmed this didn't go down as intended, saying they were "super mad" at each other despite being close friends, and there just happened to be some unknown miscommunication.

This has since gone down as a noteworthy moment in Jax's career that WWE never brings up, but the fans remember well even three years later.
