10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Nia Jax

By far the biggest complaint you'll find online about Nia Jax is that she's an unsafe worker. After all, she's been directly involved in numerous injuries enough times that it became a pattern.

On July 31, 2017, Bayley separated her shoulder when tossed out of the ring by Jax, forcing her to miss her scheduled title match against Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam.

On October 4, 2017, Jax dropped Charlotte Flair on her head in a botched shoulder breaker. Flair then landed awkwardly in a moonsault on the outside. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.

Alexa Bliss suffered a shoulder injury in her match with Jax at Backlash 2018.

Ember Moon's husband Matthew Palmer tweeted "Hope this unsafe moron doesn't hurt my wife again" after a match with Jax in 2018.

Kairi Sane was twice hurt in matches with Jax, first when she was tossed into the turnbuckle and then, thrown into the steel steps, resulting in an anonymous WWE wrestler stating she "needs to be f*cking fired."

Zelina Vega was out of action for a few weeks after getting a concussion when Jax eliminated her from the battle royal at Evolution.

In November 2020, Mandy Rose suffered a shoulder injury after (again) being thrown to the outside by Jax.

The most prolific of these injuries was, of course, Jax breaking Becky Lynch's nose days before Survivor Series 2018. But that one has been leaned into so heavily by WWE that it was promoted as the focal point of their feud.

Basically, WWE has leaned into this reputation, making it Nia's gimmick. But the one that put The Man on the map is the only one that is ever brought up, while the others are never mentioned.

It should be important to note that Jax has addressed these incidents on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, claiming to only have injured two people, and that Superstars like Asuka have gone to bat for her Jax, defending her against this incessant criticism.

Clearly, if her coworkers felt she was unsafe, they wouldn't want to be in the ring with her. But with this track record, no wonder that's how most fans perceive Jax.
