10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Nia Jax

Far from the most egregious thing on this list—in fact, a straight-up funny one—is when Nia Jax made her triumphant return to WWE at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

Or, at least, that's what it was supposed to be. But someone in production must have had their wires crossed, leading to a timing snafu.

It's simple. The countdown clock starts at 10. The fans start chanting along with it. The buzzer rings. A moment later, someone's music hits. Their name pops up on the lower-third and they make their way to the ring as the commentators gush over how they're the next entrant.

However, in this case, Nia's theme just started playing before the clock even began, let alone finished. That's bad enough, but since she was not only a surprise return, but the No. 30 entrant to finish the match, it meant the grand moment didn't have remotely the same impact it could have had.

In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter. But any future airing of this footage have always shown alternate edits to pretend like it never happened that way.
