Forget all the wacky hijinks between Kane, Daniel Bryan and Dr. Shebly, Randy Orton had to go to an actual anger management treatment facility in Atlanta for four weeks in 2006. It was probably a lot less fun. Not only that, but it was an expensive way to try and reign in the troubled superstar. His stay cost $15,000 to attend, because he had to live on their campus.

He said about his time there:

"I just got this reputation of being hard to work with, being a dick and everything in the book. But the truth is, I don’t flip out anymore.”

That doesn’t exactly seem to be true.

In 2012 in an interview on Pancakes and Powerslams, guest Brad Maddox said that he heard Orton “threaten” other wrestlers while in the gorilla position multiple times at TV tapings, right in front of Vince McMahon. Orton was never punished for that in the least. There have also been plenty of other stories of his post-not flipping out life...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
