10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Road Dogg

2. His Involvement In The Voodoo Kin Mafia

As aforementioned, Brian James enjoyed his time in TNA. Changing his ring name to 'BG James', the man was initially part of the 'Sports Entertainment Xtreme' faction led by Vince Russo. From there, he went on to be part of several other groups in the company, such as '3 Live Kru' and the interestingly-named 'Voodoo Kin Mafia'. The latter stable was named solely to reference the boss of WWE, Vincent Kennedy McMahon. This was all done to launch a storyline during which Billy Gunn (renamed Kip James) and BG James verbally attacked both WWE and Vince McMahon. Both Triple H and Shawn Michaels were also not exempt from their jibes, and the team even said they were going to face The Hardy Boys on the WWE branded ECW December To Dismember PPV in 2006. Throughout the whole ordeal, WWE never acknowledged the existence of the 'VKM'. It's difficult to see what TNA were looking to achieve with the situation, because Vince McMahon was never likely to pay much attention. Regardless, the duo did show up to WWE headquarters on occasion, which must have been mildly irritating for McMahon, Triple H and others.
