10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Ronda Rousey

1. She'll Never Belong To Them

The Wrestling Observer reported last month that there was a chance Rousey might leave WWE following WrestleMania 35, settle down and start a family. Those rumours forced Vince McMahon himself to address the situation during a recent conference call. The boss said stars like Ronda would "come and go".

This wasn't a flippant remark, but was actually McMahon's way of saying WWE would plan around Rousey's schedule. It was also the chairman's way of admitting his juggernaut can't own a star the magnitude of Ronda in 2019. She simply has way too much marketability, and she was already a household name when WWE snapped her up.

Put plainly, Rousey will never belong exclusively to WWE.

If she fancies another crack at MMA, she'll do it. If Ronda wants to pursue movie roles in Hollywood, there'll be no stopping her. Truthfully, WWE need her star power more than she needs their platform, and that's become undeniable.
