10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Sheamus

8. The Post WrestleMania 29 Raw Crowd Hated His Match Against Randy Orton

The crowd on the night after WrestleMania has historically been one of the best of the year on Raw. A lot of fans from Europe end up staying after coming in for WrestleMania and they're typically louder than the average fans. That night in New Jersey was exceptional. During the Sheamus/Orton match, fans chanted random things during the match. There were "Ole Ole Ole" chants that had nothing to do with the wrestlers. Referee Mike Chioda received a chant. They were chanting RVD with Orton looking at the crowd wondering what they were doing. There were also chants for the three members of the announce team. When the match returned from break, there were "ECW" chants. There was even a wave during the match, which is very rare for a wrestling show. http://youtu.be/965oc-v5cmg It wasn't a surprise that the announcers would mention the fun chants, yet when the crowd chanted "boring" the announce team completely ignored it. The crowd hated it so much that they chanted "thank you Big Show" after he interfered. You could see the looks of frustration on the faces of both wrestlers. The crowd completely rejected the match they were trying to have. People can say what they want about how that kind of reaction is good for the match, but they weren't chants in support of the match. They were chanting because they were bored of the action.
