10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Sin Cara

4. ...And Simon Gotch

Sin Cara went full Bart Gunn in July 2016 when he floored Simon Gotch of the Vaudevillains prior to this year's inaugural edition of SmackDown! live.

Details of the story remain sketchy, but the two men had previous, by all accounts, dating back to their days in NXT. It's a wonder the situation didn't combust earlier than it did. Gotch has an alleged penchant for running his mouth, and Cara demonstrably has a penchant for shutting mouths up. It was, as the great Gorilla Monsoon would have it, a meeting of the immovable object and the irresistible force - only one that wouldn't sell any Pay Per Views.

Reports vary as to how Gotch's mouth was actually shut. Cara either floored him with an unopened can of pop (that is soda to our American cousins and somehow 'juice' to those in Scotland) or punched him in the kisser.

In any event, Cara got the better of the exchange - so much so that Gotch was removed from the imminent round of house show events.
