10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Sin Cara

5. He Battered Sheamus

...that would have been a sound plan - but Arias was as fond as brawling as Urive was of botching.

In May 2014, it emerged that Sin Cara had entered into an altercation with Sheamus. You might have fancied Sheamus' chances, given his size advantage and storyline portrayal as a vicious brawler, but his record was dubious. Wrestling apocrypha has it that, when living together during their FCW days, Sheamus' a*se was handed to him by one Yoshi Tatsu over a monetary dispute.

Sheamus went 0-2 when he made a snide remark at Cara's expense. Apparently, the original target of Cara's ire was the former Drew McIntyre, who would purportedly only pay attention to his locker room peers if they were high enough up in the pecking order for it to reflect well on him. When Sheamus alluded to Cara's complaint, his legs were swept from under him and his face was pummelled.

Unfortunately for WWE, who like to depict the Great White as a legitimate hardcase, the Sin Cara Vs. Sheamus scrap story is unearthed whenever the former gets himself in the news - which at this rate will soon become a weekly occurrence.
