SummerSlam 1995's ladder match between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon has gone down as one of the greatest ladder matches of all-time (perhaps bettered, only, by the one at WrestleMania X - also between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon).

That's part of SummerSlam folklore, but what isn't is the fact that it was essentially a last-minute addition to the card, on which HBK was originally scheduled to face Sid - and not good friend Scott Hall - for his Intercontinental Championship.

The line-up was purportedly changed because WWE feared the event - which was headlined by Diesel and Mable (to give you some idea of how drab mid-90s wrestling was) - would otherwise be badly received. And they had a point.
