10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Undertaker's American Badass Run

7. Making Tommy Dreamer Drink His Tobacco Spit

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlAZWF0oJok During his heel run through late 2001 and part of 2002, the Undertaker, a.k.a. Big Evil, was the biggest bully in WWE. He would attack anyone whom he thought wasn€™t respecting him enough, and also made some WWE Superstars do things that wouldn€™t otherwise do. One of the best examples of this behaviour was when €˜Taker made Tommy Dreamer drink his tobacco spit, under threat of serious violence if he didn€™t do it. If you€™re looking for a textbook example of what bullying would look like, this was it. Of course, being a bully, Undertaker beats the hell out of Dreamer afterwards anyway. It€™s bad enough that Undertaker was chewing tobacco (which is itself a bad habit) in front of a large audience, and it might€™ve encouraged some younger fans to do it because the €˜cool Undertaker€™ was doing it. but €˜Taker making Dreamer drink his tobacco spit is an insult to Dreamer as a wrestler, who should€™ve been doing much better than gross things on RAW. It€™s because of these problems that WWE wants you to forget about Undertaker€™s run during this period. Also, if you pause that video at the 8:16 mark, you€™ll see a very rare sight: the Undertaker actually expressing disgust. He€™s known for rarely showing any emotion, even smiling, yet this act made him actually show some kind of emotional sensitivity, which is itself another reason why WWE would want you to forget this run.
