10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Usos

2. Main Event (Loser) Jey Uso

While the less said about the Pandemic era of professional wrestling the better, one of the highlights of WWE's Thunderdome was the singles push of Jey Uso. Sustaining his first solo run of his career, the tag team specialist competed in multiple championship matches, then found himself as the right hand man of Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The Tribal Chief's upcoming SummerSlam opponent loves to point to this as his ascent to the top of the card. That being said, Jimmy's twin did not do much winning in those main event matches. After becoming 'Main Event' Jey Uso, the eight time tag champion served as more of a speed bump for his cousins challengers as opposed to a real threat. In Jey's 15 show closing matches on SmackDown before Jimmy's return, his record was 2 wins and 13 losses, notably losing 13 in a row.

While there is something to be said about being in the main event, Jey did little to nothing with those opportunities. WWE may prefer fans look at time period as the rise of Jey Uso, but in reality one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time amounted to nothing but a main event loser.
