8. Daniel Puder Nearly Breaks Kurt Angle's Arm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_12qn29WKA Daniel Puder became a huge star - in some circles - after an incident on the November 4th, 2004 Smackdown. After trying to exhaust the contestants with squat thrusts and other exercises, Angle challenged the 'winner' (Chris Nawrocki) to a shoot wrestling match. Angle easily won, breaking one of Narwocki's ribs in the process. Angle then challenged any other member of the group to step up and Puder, who had a professional MMA fight with Strikeforce under his belt, accepted. Locking Angle in a very dangerous Kimura, Puder had the Olympic Hero at his mercy. It was only quick thinking from Jerry Brisco (who knew what was going on) and referee Jimmy Korderas that prevented Angle from having his arm broken. Whilst in the Kimura, Angle managed to take Puder down to the mat where Korderas counted a quick three count, even though Puder's shoulders weren't properly on the mat. Angle was understandably annoyed afterwards, asking Puder if he was 'f***ing stupid' and going ballistic backstage. What's most incredible about this incident is that Angle didn't tap out while in the Kimura and was seconds away from potentially having his arm broken. It was stupid of Puder to do it, but he was only reacting to the situation. WWE shouldn't have placed Puder (or Angle) in that situation.
