10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Tough Enough

3. The Disgraced Bill DeMott Was A Head Trainer

WWE want nothing at all to do with Bill DeMott these days. The former Hugh Morrus was embroiled in a scandal in early 2015. Several of DeMott's former trainees came forward and levelled some pretty heavy accusations against him, including unsafe training methods, homophobia and other abuse. Big Bill's face is all over seasons three and five of Tough Enough, where he acted as a head coach. Although Bill's training methods were above board when he was on-camera and he toned down his drill sergeant routine, there were still the odd questionable moments. Such as when DeMott broke down on camera following the Bob Holly/Matt Cappotelli incident. Addressing the group in a house meeting, DeMott got serious and delivered the following speech, while fighting to hold back the tears:
There are motherf*****s who are going to push your buttons...every night on the road, people push my buttons, I wanna kill 'em. Because as a man, I've swallowed more than my share. The bigger men swallow s*** that they don't wanna swallow. You can chose to beat it, or to let it beat you
It was pretty haunting stuff. DeMott has clearly had some issues with guys ribbing him in the past. WWE isn't going to mention the fact that DeMott was a former trainer on the show, given recent events.
