9. Romance Angles With Jeff Hardy And The Rock Didn't Work Out
Trish Stratus participated in a few romantic storylines during her WWE career, with her relationship with Christian being the most memorable. At WrestleMania XX, she turned on Chris Jericho to join "Captain Charisma" in an evil alliance. However, if other romance angles had worked out, who's to say what path her career would have taken?
WWE actually tried pairing up Stratus with Jeff Hardy - twice. In 2001, WWE first began teasing the pairing (and a Stratus alliance with Team Xtreme), but the future Women's Champion suffered an ankle injury that put her out of action and relegated her to a hosting position on Excess. Two years later, Hardy saved Stratus from Victoria and Steven Richards and once again, a romance began to blossom, but Hardy was fired before it could go anywhere.
Perhaps better remembered is her storyline with The Rock. The two shared a kiss when Rock saved Stratus from joining Vince McMahon's "Kiss My Ass" Club, and a relationship was teased for a few weeks, but the whole thing was abruptly dropped.
