10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Trish Stratus
8. She Was Part Of One Of Raw's Worst Matches Ever
It's safe to say that Tough Enough has been a failed experiment.
Though a couple of the stars from the show (The Miz, John Morrison) ended up making it big, for the most part, the winners were exposed. They were not ready for their pushes, and their careers didn't last long.
Perhaps the most egregious example of this came when Jackie Gayda debuted on Raw shortly after becoming one of the winners of the show's second season. She teamed up with Christopher Nowinski (a season one contestant who also needed some seasoning) to take on Trish Stratus and Bradshaw in a mixed tag team match, and the result was phenomenally bad.
Nowinski and Bradshaw ended up brawling away from the ring, leaving Stratus and Gayda to finish the contest on their own. Gayda messed up several spots, including Stratus's signature Stratusfaction bulldog, resulting in a bout that everyone would like to forget.
Following the contest, Stratus was visibly upset. That sentiment was universally shared.
