4. Snooki Wrestled On The Show
It was mentioned briefly before, but it bears repeating - at WrestleMania XXVII, WWE's top show of the entire year, The Jersey Shore's Snooki competed in a match. After LayCool (Michelle McCool and Layla El) cost Trish Stratus a match with Vickie Guerrero on Raw, guest host Snooki made the save. That led Guerrero to book a six-person mixed tag match for WrestleMania pitting Snooki, Stratus, and John Morrison against LayCool and Dolph Ziggler. The match, which served as a buffer between Undertaker versus HHH and the main event, lasted just over three minutes and Morrison and Ziggler were never the legal competitors. Snooki scored the win for her team, executing a cartwheel into a weak-looking splash on McCool for the pin. Where exactly is Snooki in 2016? Was the ephemeral mainstream media attention really worth it?
