10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 30

1. 21-1

WrestleMania XXX will always be remembered as a night of remarkable triumph, but it also played host to the most crushing defeat in WWE history - that night, Brock Lesnar pinned The Undertaker to end The Phenom's 21-year WrestleMania winning streak. The loss, which shocked and upset WWE fans and gained mainstream publicity, was meant to make Lesnar the company's top heel. To that end, it succeeded. Unfortunately, the endgame - having Lesnar put over Roman Reigns en route to making Reigns WWE's number one star - didn't. WWE pulled back on plans for Reigns to beat Lesnar when fans didn't accept him, and all the heat that was supposed to be transferred to the former Shield member was wasted. Had the company continued to book Lesnar well it wouldn't be such an issue, but over the course of the past year, "The Beast" lost the WWE Title, failed to get it back, and even suffered his one and only defeat... to The Undertaker. Lesnar's been protected somewhat, but he's still lost cachet through the way WWE has used him. Two years later, his streak-ending victory has proven to be totally unnecessary.
