10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 30

2. Daniel Bryan Had To Vacate The Title 64 Days Later

Daniel Bryan's WrestleMania victory was one of the most momentous in history. Though Randy Orton and Batista double-teamed The Yes! Man and tried to take him out with a combination Batista Bomb/reverse RKO through a table, the plucky challenger got off the stretcher and returned to the match. He finally managed to make Batista submit to the Yes! Lock, winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and leading a massive celebration. Bryan's championship run was met with higher TV ratings, but it didn't last long. After making a defense against Kane at Extreme Rules, the WWE Champion started experiencing weakness in his right arm. He soon found out he would need a minor surgery, forcing him out of action for about a month. Bryan didn't recover as expected, though. After a storyline where Brie Bella quit the company to save her husband's title, Bryan was still forced to relinquish his prize. His reign, which started with as much fanfare as possible, ended with a fizzle. He was only champion for two months, and only active with the belt for one.
