10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 35

6. John Cena's Risqué Rap Lines

Try some of these lines on for size.

John Cena, reverting to his old 'Thuganomics' persona from yesteryear, told Elias that he wasn't "even half a dog, you just a little piece of shitzu". Following that clever dodging of WWE's PG certification, Cena then informed Elias that "everybody here just saw you only like playin’ with yourself". Delightful stuff.

Fans in the front few rows had sh*t-eating grins throughout the entire promo. It was almost like they'd gone back in time to 2002 and couldn't wait to see more from WWE's bad-boy rapper. Things reached their apex when Cena went all sexual innuendo and hit out with this: "...and they call me the 'Golden Shovel', so I’m about to bury your push. Your face looks like my nuts, except you got a hairier bush".

It was all tame stuff to those who recall Attitude, yes, but it's the kind of lyricism that'd make less-liberal parents around the globe blush and wonder why their darling children could like such base entertainment. Those same mummies and daddies are the ones WWE rely on to fork out dollar after dollar on live events and merch.
