10 Things You Can Get Fined For In WWE

8. Any Blow To The Head

Triple H Kane Chair Shot

While we’ve seen fines doled out for chair shots to the head, a closer inspection of the company’s concussion policy reveals that the ruling is actually even more far-reaching.

The policy dictates that as well as fines being levelled for “the intentional use of a folding metal chair to “strike” an opponent in the head,” they can also be applied for “any blow to the head that is deemed an INTENTIONAL act.” And yes, the official company document uses all caps for effect.

It’s not really clear what exactly is meant by the terms “strike” and “any blow” to the head, so much so that the document even features the word strike in somewhat suggestive quotations marks. Presumably, they’re referring to the use of a foreign object, such as kendo sticks and the like, rather than just a straightforward closed fist or a kick. Otherwise, there may be a fair few guys who’ll need to look into changing up their movesets…
