10 Things You Didn't Know About Emma

1. Once Accidentally Won A Match On NXT

NXT is generally considered the origin point of the whole 'Women's Revolution' concept, and it's easy to forget that Emma was originally a part of that before others like Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch made a splash on the main roster.

On the August 26, 2015 episode of NXT, WWE ran some matches that hadn't aired on the TakeOver: Brooklyn show previously. A Fatal-4-Way encounter involving Emma, Becky Lynch, Dana Brooke and Charlotte headlined the episode, and the match ended in confusion; unbelievably, Emma wasn't supposed to win the bout. That distinction was meant for Charlotte.

Fending off Brooke and pinning Lynch following a routine Cross Body Block in the corner, Emma looked stunned when the referee counted Becky down and declared her the winner. This wasn't the original plan, but the lateness of Dana in breaking up the pinfall (along with Lynch failing to kick out) meant that the official kept counting.

Post-match, each woman wore a surprised expression, likely feeling they'd be chewed out backstage for messing the finish up so badly.
