10 Things You Didn't Know About Noelle Foley
Get to know Mrs Foley's Baby Boy's Baby Girl before she hits the big time...
Few people in history are being groomed for success in the WWE like Mrs. Foley's baby boy's baby girl.
Noelle is set to be a huge part of the company’s future. She already has her own reality TV show on the Network and has previously made appearances on Stone Cold’s podcast, the Slammy Awards and Raw. Outside of the WWE she has also popped up on Sam Roberts Podcast, the Cheap Heat Podcast and is, of course, well-known for her affecting cameo in the 1999 classic Beyond The Mat (she was even on one of the theatrical release posters).
These days she's a frequent face of WWE Network advertising and a constant presence on social media, as well as being a sweet and likeable beauty sure to attract both men and women to her personal brand. As the daughter of one of the most beloved wrestlers of all time, fans are already on her side and her path to mainstream WWE television seems assured.
Her route to the top will be a far cry from her father's climb in sports entertainment, however. Mick Foley spent years building rings, sleeping in his car and wrestling in empty halls. Even though Noelle has his famous surname, no legend ever made it to the top of the mountain without hard work, dedication, pain and personal sacrifice.
She's coming up in the modern era of professional wrestling where kayfabe is dead, social media is key and the product is strictly PG. Whichever way she gets there, it’s clear WWE would love her to be a future superstar.
Here I take a look at ten things the uninitiated don't know about her, including when we'll be seeing her in the future, insights into her personal life and her hopes and dreams regarding the business.
10. She's Named After Mick Foley's Main Obsession
Mick Foley’s fascination with Christmas is well documented. Well before he starred in 2014’s heartwarming I am Santa Claus documentary, he filled his best-selling autobiographies with his love for the festive period.
We got to hear Christmas anecdotes (cracking Hardcore Holly’s titanium exterior with his festive Elvis album), his love for Santa’s Village Theme Park in Jefferson, New Hampshire, and also that he has a room in his house dedicated to the most wonderful time of the year FOR 365 DAYS OF IT!
Mick has dressed as Santa, wrestled as Santa, made personal appearances as Santa and even been run over by Alberto Del Rio in character as Santa. The man's dedication to jolly old Saint Nick really knows no bounds. In Holy Foley we get to see him singing "Jingle Bells" driving his car completely out of season to the confusion/amusement of other road users.
It may come as no surprise then that when the Hardcore Legend's daughter was born on 15th December 1993 she was probably going to be called Mary, Holly or...Noelle.
