While making an appearance on Ellen recently, Ronda Rousey let slip that she doesn't plan to be fighting much longer. In fact, any fight could realistically be her last.

Especially her next one.

Consider this: at UFC 207, Rousey faces Amanda Nunes for the UFC women's bantamweight championship. Rousey, coming off a loss, might not be the most deserving fighter for a title shot right now, but Miesha Tate just retired after two losses at big events, Holly Holm has lost two in a row, and Rousey is the biggest star in the division.

That said, Nunes is a scary fighter lately - she completely obliterated Miesha Tate's nose at UFC 200. Tate, one of the toughest girls in the sport, wound up blitzed and eventually choked out. Now, were Rousey to lose - especially badly - any hopes of another title shot would be gone for a while.

Meanwhile, her Hollywood career would still be calling, and really, would she be able to dedicate the time needed to go on a long run back to the title? Probably not.

So - enjoy Rousey while you can, because she's not long for the sport.
