In 2006, Massaro was put with London and partner Brian Kendrick as a valet, and that professional relationship turned into a personal one soon thereafter. London admitted this during a 2014 interview with False Count Radio. He said that dating on the road didn't work out, but that he doesn't have any "ill feelings" towards Ashley.

London also said that Ashley always had a "great head on her shoulders" and a "massive amount of potential". The latter point is interesting too, because Massaro told IGN that she'd been doing some in-ring training with London and Kendrick in '06. The team were eager to drop some knowledge on their manager so she'd be more effective during their matches.

Massaro, London and Kendrick had a good look together. Her punk-rock vibes fit well with their high-energy, high-flying ring style, and it's a shame WWE decided to go in a different direction with the trio after Ashley posed nude for Playboy.
