Angle has since revealed that the night before the Iron Man match, his sister died of a heroin overdose.

It’s nigh on impossible to imagine how to go about dealing with that kind of news. But to then go out in front of thousands of people and perform as if everything was fine is nothing short of incredible.

Angle himself claims he simply didn’t deal with the loss and he instead just hid the pain, but to be able to even do that in the first place shows just how dedicated an athlete and performer he is.
