10 Things You Didn’t Know About Kurt Angle

Onto a somewhat lighter note now (a musical one, to be precise). Not only has Angle excelled in the amateur and professional wrestling worlds, but it seems he also has an ear for music.

In A.R. Schaefer’s biography on Angle, entitled Olympic Hero: Pro Wrestler Kurt Angle, Schaefer reveals that outside of the ring, one of Angle’s many interests is indeed playing the drums.

I guess it’s only natural that a professional wrestler takes to an instrument such as the drums. He was never going to play the flute, or the piano, or anything quite as delicate as that, was he?

But my question is how he ever managed to find the time to take to the kit and play. With ten hours of daily training to fit in, there can’t have been many a spare moment in his schedule and, on top of that, the routine itself must have left him absolutely knackered.

I guess he’s just made of sterner stuff than a mere mortal like myself...
