10 Things You Didn’t Know About 'The Fiend'
8. Code Orange & Wyatt Secretly Created His New Theme
Fun fact: Code Orange, the band behind Bray's new entrance theme, were actually the backing band for Incendiary's Brendan Garrone at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III. There, they helped Garrone perform Aleister Black's 'Root Of All Evil' theme live.
What does that have to do with Wyatt? Well, the wrestler became familiar with the band shortly afterwards and followed them on Twitter. That incidental show of support only became important later when Code Orange drummer and vocalist Jami Morgan reached out and said he'd love to work with WWE in some capacity.
The wheels started spinning in Wyatt's head, and the pair had several long conversations about how they could do something together. Meanwhile, WWE were blissfully unaware that Bray was sowing seeds for 'The Fiend' and going so far as to line up rejigged entrance music.
Morgan told Newsweek that the band and Bray fired some test recordings back and forth. Code Orange watched some early 'Firefly Fun House' promos, jotted down some quotes and notes, then hit the studio to work their magic.
