2. His Main Reason For Joining WCW Was Simply To Be Closer To His Daughter

In his biography, Bobby revealed that he was ready to retire after his WWF run. He had tried unsuccessfully to get into commercials and product endorsements, and was otherwise happy to remain at home. When Eric Bischoff called Heenan with an offer to come to WCW, he was at first hesitant, despite the relaxed schedule and big paycheck. However, Bobby realized that by working in Atlanta, he'd only be 200 miles away from his daughter, who was studying at the University of Alabama. According to Bobby's biography, "Once a week, I could go up and see her for lunch. That's why I took the job at WCW." What a sweet old family man The Weasel actually was!
