3. Most Decorated Wrestler In WCW History
There's little doubt about it, Booker T was immensely popular amongst the hardcore fans of WCW. After breaking free from the tag ranks in 1997, Booker would capture the WCW TV Title at the tail end of the year, going on to become a solid addition to the mid-card scene in the promotion. From there, it seemed only a matter of time before Booker was elevated to the main event scene, but that push would have to wait until 2000, when the man finally captured the WCW World Title at Bash At The Bash. Scarily enough, that change wasn't even the initial plan, but Booker was shoved up the card once problems arose between Hulk Hogan, Vince Russo and Jeff Jarrett. All in all, Booker T captured 21 titles during his tenure in WCW, making him the most decorated wrestler to ever grace the promotion. Obviously, this stat doesn't take into account the years the company spent under the NWA banner, but it's still a remarkable achievement, one which shows how highly Booker was thought of by various people in charge of the promotion.
