10 Things You Didn't Know About Cody Rhodes

4. Eliminated Most People From 2012 Royal Rumble

Even though he's long been considered a potential future headliner, Cody Rhodes has never reached the main event scene on a full-time basis. He has flirted with it, more so when he was aligned with Randy Orton in 'Legacy'. On his own, he has always just been a solid mid card performer. There's no shame in that, but Cody has said in interviews he feels he has the talent to do more. At the 2012 Royal Rumble, WWE gave Cody a 40-minute run in the match. Entering at number 4, Cody lasted for a grand total of 41 minutes and 55 seconds. He was eventually eliminated by The Big Show, but not before making an impact on the match. In total, Rhodes eliminated 6 different wrestlers, the most out of anyone in the match. The next closest was Show himself, who hurled 4 stars over the top rope. Santino Marella, Jim Duggan, The Great Khali, Booker T, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and even Mick Foley were all eliminated by Cody. Both Khali and Booker T's eliminations were aided by Dolph Ziggler, but they still count as Cody eliminations. This isn't a stat which will crop up too often, but it's still worth noting that Rhodes was the MVP of the 2012 Royal Rumble match.
