10 Things You Didn’t Know About Ivelisse

1. PWI Success

On top of totally and utterly dominating the record books of Shine, Ivelisse can also lay claim to an admirable accolade from outside the company.

Every year, Pro Wrestling Insider compiles a list of the top 50 females in the pro wrestling business. And when Ivelisse featured on the list for the first time—in the 2014 edition—she was listed at number six. That made her the highest-ranking new entry on that year's entire PWI list. In essence, it made her the unofficial PWI Rookie of the Year.

And not only that, but there have only ever been two higher ranking debutants in the history of the PWI 50. Eve and Kaitlyn both came in at number five in their debut years, in 2010 and 2013 respectively. But other than those two exceptions, no one had been able to match the achievement of Ivelisse.

In the following year's ranking, she did slip a fair few places—but expect her to be right back near the top of the list this year, and indeed many more years to come.
