10 Things You Didn't Know About Marc Mero

3. Mero Didn't Hang Around With Many In The WWF

Adding to that pressure was the fact that Marc Mero never really felt at home in the WWF. In WCW, he was one of the boys, someone comfortable with the roster and his place on the totem pole. Over in McMahon-land, things were different, and Mero largely kept himself to himself.

It's likely there was a degree of animosity towards Mero due to the fact he was allowed to travel with his wife. At the time, that's not something the guy particularly felt, but he agrees in retrospect that it definitely existed.

Mero was simply delighted to be around Sable so often, staying in hotels and spending time on the road with his spouse.

Aside from Sable, Marc didn't have too many friends in the WWF. He rarely indulged in parties with the boys, because he was thinking of preserving his marriage. Looking back, Mero can understand why this made him seem like he had an attitude problem or appeared to be aloof.
